Furniture Painting for Beginners (In-person Class)

Join author, blogger, and DIY expert Lisa Silfwerbrand from Recreated Designs for this class on furniture painting basics. We will cover everything you need to know to get started!

This 2-hour class will cover...

Prepping Your Piece

Cleaning your piece
How and when to sand
What to do with the hardware
How to choose a paint - Annie Sloan (chalk paint) and Fusion (acrylic)
How to choose a brush

Painting Your Piece

How many coats you will need
Painting in one direction vs multiple
Drying time between layers

Finishing Your Piece

During this hands-on workshop, you will be painting sample boards with different types of paints and trying out different products. You will be able to take your sample boards with you.

Suitable for all levels.   

Cost is $87 + tax.  All supplies included. 

Please note that this class will be limited to 7 people in total. Masks are optional.
